Vatry is an essential link in the cargo charter keen chain owing to the airport's exceptional geographic location. It is thus as neighbours seeking to supplement our base at Roissy/Charles-de-Gaulle that we are initiating operations at Vatry. Our decision to set up at Vatry was based on three key considerations: the priority focus on air cargo, the high level of service quality and the ability to operate round-the-clock. These three factors combined speak volumes about the Vatry experience and explain our interest in growing in tandem with this innovative new complex.

The fundamental value of all-cargo airports such as Vatry lies in the level of operating flexibility offered cargo charter operators. The facilities at Vatry definitely meet our needs in terms of equipment, service quality, 24-hour availability of airport ground crews, knowledge of CIS-based aircraft, crew assistance and runway access which combine to facilitate operations for both customers and shippers. We have been strong believers in Vatry from the outset. Indeed, the first commercial aircraft to touch down at the airport in May 2000 was chartered by CHAPMAN FREEBORN. For us, Vatry is all about availability, customer service and exceptionally welcoming ways.

We entertain no doubts whatsoever about the promising future of this dedicated cargo facility. As market leader, it would have been inconceivable for us not to incorporate Vatry into our system network.

A little over a year ago, we announced the inauguration by France Handling of a ground freight shuttle between Roissy/CharlesdeGaulle and Vatry airports. Today, we are pleased to report a substantial enhancement of our partnership with the set up of France Handling in the Vatry cargo terminal.
