Measuring a total of 12 000 m2 in area, the 2 cargo terminals have dedicated a full 4 200 m2 for the storage of perishable goods and 8 100 m2 for dry cargo such as materials, spare parts, and so on. Both terminals can currently handle up to 120 000 tonnes of freight a year.
Vatry’s perishable goods centre is one of the largest, most modern facilities in Europe and includes 5 cold storage rooms (with temperatures ranging between 2° C and 12° C) designed specifically for fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers, as well as fish, meat and prepared foods. The centre boasts a refrigeration room reserved for export produce and a 20 m² freezer facility.
