Ch‰lons-en-Champagne Chamber of Commerce and Industry invests at Vatry
Following the memorandum of understanding signed in the spring of 2005 with real estate developer Gazeley, the Chamber of
Commerce and Industry of Châlons-en-Champagne, Vitry-le-François and Sainte-Menehould announced, in September 2005, the
purchase of a 1.2 hectare parcel of land in Business Park 1 at Vatry International Airport.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Châlons-en-Champagne, which already operates an onsite business centre housing
a restaurant and offices, has announced the construction of a two-building complex scheduled for completion by year-end 2006.
The complex is to comprise as follows:

A 1600 m2 airport and logistics trades training centre;

A 3000 m2 facility to be divided into modules designed to satisfy the immediate needs of logistics players interested in eventually
expanding operations at Vatry.
First Realty invests in the logistics park
On 15 October 2005, FIRST REALTY, a specialized corporate real estate developer and investor,
signed an agreement to purchase. The agreement, signed by company president Adrian
Radford-Weiss after several months of negotiations with Société d’Exploitation de l’Aéroport
International de Vatry (SEVE), relates to the acquisition of Lot No 7 measuring 4.3 hectares in
area in Business Park 2 adjacent to motorway A26.

The company plans to develop, in one or more stages, a 15 000 m2 rental logistics complex
comprising 3 modules each totalling 5000 m2 in area. First Realty has confirmed its intention
to file for a building permit before the end of January 2006, and to complete the first phase of
development by summer 2006.
Founded in 1990 by UK businessman Adrian Radford-Weiss, First Realty focused initially on
development in the Greater Paris area and then expanded to other regions of France. Active mainly in the medium-sized project
development sector, the company is currently finalizing concepts in Lyon, Lens, Clermont-Ferrand and Mulhouse. First Realty
developments generally include office complexes made up of buildings no more than 1500 m2 in area and warehouses no larger
than 15 000 m2 .
